Towards St Mary’s, Cholsey

This is inpired by same scene that makes up part of panel 4 of The Springline mural which has been chosen to feature on the cover of the Oxfordshire Artweeks 2026 brochure. Anna and I met here for the first time, at 5am on an early summer’s morning. This place marks the boundary between the parishes of Cholsey and The Astons. I love the contrast as you go through the shaded trees to come out into the light of the neighbouring parish.
